A Metaphysical Shop & Community Gathering Space

The Moonwell didn’t begin as a business plan. It began as a quiet idea that started forming long before I ever had language for it.

At the same time, life was already shifting things around me. I was in a situation I no longer felt aligned with, but I was still committed to seeing it through. Then life stepped in and closed that chapter for me anyway.

Not long after, I applied and interviewed for a job I thought would be a really good next step. I was disappointed when I wasn’t chosen. At the time, it didn’t make sense. Later, I learned there were reasons I couldn’t have known then—reasons that made it clear I wasn’t meant to be there.

What felt like setbacks were actually redirections.

Around that same time, The Moonwell concept was already beginning to take shape—slowly, intuitively, through reflection, conversations, and a growing sense of something wanting to exist.

Helping with the first Trinidad Wellness Festival came after that idea had already begun forming. But the experience became something important in a different way. It confirmed what I had been sensing: that there is a real need and desire in this community for spaces like this. I met incredible people, built connections, and saw firsthand that The Moonwell wasn’t just something I was imagining alone.

It was something that resonated.

The Moonwell is still in its beginning stages, but I wanted to share where it came from: not a straight line, but a series of openings, closures, and confirmations that kept pointing me here.
